Announced today by Sullins Electronics, a world leader in the design and manufacture of connectors and interconnect systems, is the signing of a distribution agreement with Bisco Industries, Inc., an international distributor of specialty fasteners and electronic components. The agreement, effective immediately, allows Bisco to promote, supply and support both the Sullins and Micro Plastics lines of connectors and interconnect systems throughout North America. Among the products covered in the contract are conventional, lead-free and RoHS -compliant edge cards, headers, bi-level, and CompactPCI connectors, along with parts engineered for high-temperature applications.
Under the terms of the agreement, Bisco is responsible for the distribution and marketing of the product lines from their over 32 sales and service offices throughout the United States and Canada. The company will focus on offering local customer service and engineering support to design engineers and purchasing professionals in the aerospace, medical instrumentation, test and measurement, telecommunications, audio, video and broadcast industries. Moreover, they are charged with reaching out to new customers and market sectors to increase Sullins’ overall sales penetration.
